We follow Marietta City Schools for winter weather closings:  When Marietta Schools have a snow day, we won't have dance that evening.

Looking for a family friendly, professional atmosphere for your dance training?
You have found the right place!

We are committed to treating each student equally ~
inspiring self-confidence, creativity and love of the art of dance.

Busy families have many choices for after school activities. Here are a few points to consider when deciding to enroll your child in a dance studio:

  • We are celebrating our 11th successful year in Marietta, Ohio.
  • Our costumes, music and movements are always age appropriate in the Dance Academy's classes and performances.
  • We offer our students many local performing opportunities and have an award winning competition team.
  • We have a friendly, caring staff who has the best interest of each child at heart.
  • We are certified by the nationally acclaimed "Leap-N-Learn" program. "Leap-N-Learn" was created by a child psychologist to uniquely develop children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development through movement.
  • Proper technique, fundamentals and discipline are the basis of our curriculum for all ages and interests.
  • Our dance staff continues their education to keep current on the latest trends in dance and bring in guest star teachers for weekend workshops for our students at reasonable prices.

We invested in a professional flooring system for the safety of our dancers and staff. Since most dance shoes have very little cushioning or support, repetitive actions of high impact movements can lead to stress on major joints. A “floating floor” reduces the risk of injury.

Whether the student is a recreational dancer or a dancer who dreams of some day being a professional dancer, everyone can be successful at the Marietta Dance Academy.
